She learned the art of photography from her husband, György Stalter. Together, they took photos all over Hungary’s Roma ghettos and Budapest neighbourhoods on the verge of ghettoization. They released their joint work in the album Más Világ (Another World, 1998), and have exhibited its material at a number of venues in Hungary and abroad. For Csalóka látszat (Deceptive Appearances), her 2010 album, she photographed small objects with macro objective lenses. In Privát képek 12 (Private Images 12), she documented her own illness and her mother’s last years.
